Junior SAT Day Scheduled for March 6

Indian Creek High School will participate in the state-mandated SAT School Day on Wednesday, March 6. All juniors are required by state law to take the SAT at their home school on this day to qualify for graduation. All Juniors must attend school on that day to fill the requirements from the State of Indiana for graduation.
The majority of juniors will be finished with testing around lunchtime. At the end of testing, they will be allowed to go home to complete their e-learning activities. If they wish to stay at school for the rest of the day, we will have a classroom for them to complete their work. Juniors with accommodations will be done a little after lunch. They too will be dismissed after testing.
All Freshmen, Sophomores and Seniors will use the day as an e-learning day. These students can stay at home and work on their Chromebooks like a typical e-learning day. If parents wish for their 9th, 10th or 12th graders to attend school on that day, we will have classrooms available for them to complete their work. We encourage any 12th graders to utilize this day for job shadowing or college visits to take full advantage of the flexibility of e-learning. There will be no required C-9 on that day.
