View Eclipse Outside Indian Creek High School on April 8

You can experience the upcoming Total Eclipse and support Indian Creek's programs on April 8.
Because the path of totality (total darkness) runs right through Trafalgar, Indian Creek High School is selling parking spaces to raise money for academics, arts and athletics. The eclipse will occur from 1:50 to 4:24 p.m., and Trafalgar will experience total darkness for more than four minutes.
The next total solar eclipse viewable in the contiguous United States will not happen until August 23, 2044.
Located in rural Trafalgar, Indiana, Indian Creek High School has several large parking areas and grassy areas with completely unobstructed sky views. Reservations are $50 per vehicle or $100 per camper and include two parking spaces, access to restrooms and trash cans. Food trucks and concessions are available for purchase. Alcohol and tobacco products are strictly prohibited on school grounds.
Parking Details
- Indian Creek High School is located at 803 West Indian Creek Drive, Trafalgar, IN 46181.
- $50 per vehicle/ $100 camper (two parking spaces included in ticket).
- Parking spaces open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024. No parking in grassy areas.
- All vehicles must vacate the property at 6 p.m.
- Reservations include two parking spaces in the front or back lots at Indian Creek Schools. Grassy areas are also available for those wishing to sit on the lawn.
- Reservations are non-refundable. All sales are final. Rain or shine.
- Free eclipse viewing glasses are available until supplies run out.
T-Shirts Available for Purchase
Indian Creek High School will sell commemorative shirts for $20 each. Shirts may be purchased online and picked up in the front of the high school on April 8, 2024.
