Indian Creek High School Theatre Presents Radium Girls
October 22, 2026 Author: Indian Creek Schools

Indian Creek High School Theatre invites the community to experience Radium Girls, a powerful drama inspired by the true story of young women who painted luminous watch dials in the 1920s and later became seriously ill from radium exposure.
The play follows Grace Fryer, a dial painter who takes on the U.S. Radium Corporation in a fight for justice. As she seeks accountability from her former employer, Grace faces resistance from the company and doubts from those closest to her.
Through a compelling story of courage, perseverance and the pursuit of truth, Radium Girls explores the consequences of unchecked corporate power and the commercialization of science. The production offers audiences a moving look at an important chapter in American history and the women who refused to remain silent.
Performances will be held at the Indian Creek Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 6, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, November 7, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for Indian Creek students. Children under age 3 are admitted free. Tickets can be purchased online at https://icpac.ludus.com/200549375.
The community is encouraged to attend and support Indian Creek High School Theatre in this thought-provoking production.
