Kim Davis Named IASP District 9 Middle School Principal of the Year

Indian Creek Schools is proud to announce that Indian Creek Middle School Principal Kim Davis has been named the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) District 9 Middle School Principal of the Year.
The award recognizes outstanding school leaders who demonstrate excellence in educational leadership and a strong commitment to students, staff, and their school communities.
Since becoming principal at ICMS, Davis has been dedicated to building strong relationships, supporting student growth, and creating a positive culture for both students and staff. Her leadership has strengthened academic achievement and fostered a supportive environment focused on continuous improvement.
Superintendent Dr. Matt Prusiecki praised Davis for her leadership and commitment to the Indian Creek community.
“Mrs. Davis is a strong leader who works tirelessly for our students, staff, and families each day,” said Dr. Prusiecki. “Her dedication to the Indian Creek community is evident in everything she does. We are proud to celebrate this accomplishment with her.”
ICMS Assistant Principal Troy Burkhart also shared his appreciation for Davis and the impact she has made on the school.
“Kim pours an incredible amount of time, energy, and heart into supporting our students and staff,” said Burkhart. “She genuinely cares about people and is constantly working to help ICMS continue to grow and improve. Her leadership has made a tremendous impact on our school, and this recognition is very well deserved.”
Davis said the recognition reflects the collective effort of the entire ICMS staff.
“I am so fortunate to receive this award, but it really is a reflection of the entire team at ICMS,” said Davis. “We have a fantastic staff that shows up every day ready to teach, challenge, and grow our students.”
Indian Creek Schools congratulates Mrs. Davis on this outstanding achievement and thanks her for the leadership and dedication she brings to Indian Creek Middle School each day.
